The Learner Reporting Team at Bow Valley College (BVC) and Iteration Insights have partnered to create an Applications Analysis dashboard. This interactive report enables self-service answers to strategic business questions, through an analysis of student application data for the academic years from 2016 to 2018.

 

With these new insights, BVC now has the confidence to make informed business decisions for departments such as marketing. For example, they can now better understand what channels they will use for promotions, what segments they should target and more.

 

The flexibility of Power BI has allowed BVC to continue to build on the current data model to find new insights based on the needs of the reports end-users. Additionally, the production version is set to automatically refresh with new data at the end of an academic year, creating a self-sustaining analytics report.

 

Through our partnership, Iteration Insights, and Bow Valley College have been able to create a dashboard that provides data-driven answers to critical business questions, that previously were unanswerable.
