This report provides an analysis of the different routes flown by airlines from airports in the UK.
The map shows the routes for the selected airlines, source airports or destinations. The plane icon indicates the destination of the route and can be clicked on to see the details of the source and destination airports. The bar charts indicate the number of routes flown by each airlines or from/to each location. The locations can be drilled up and down from country to city down to individual airports.
For example, the Source chart shows that most flights originate from London. Drilling into London shows that Heathrow Airport services the greatest number of routes of all airports in London. Selecting Heathrow shows that it services routes worldwide. Conversely, Stanstead services routes for destinations predominately in Europe.
Selecting a destination will show all of the routes into that airport. The Airline chart shows which airlines service those routes, and whether it is code share.
