The Power BI report enables analysis of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. The KPI measures how equipment in production plant is utilized compared to its full potential. It is calculated as a product of three separate indicators:
1) Availability – the ratio of run time to planned production time.
2) Performance – speed at which the factory line runs as a percantage of its designed speed.
3) Quality – percentage of good units to all products.
The OEE is calculated according to the formula: Availability x Performance x Quality.
An OEE score of 100% means perfect production. Score of 85% is considered world class for discrete manufacturers and 60% is typical score but there is a room for improvement.
