We want to hear what’s got you thinking about Power BI and Business Intelligence! Blog posts can be anything from opinion pieces on the latest industry trends, to helpful tips and how-tos for your fellow Power BI users, to even “trip reports” from your local User Group meeting or Microsoft event.

How to use your Office Theme as Power BI Report Theme, by Dominik Petri

Since Power BI Desktop’s March 2017 Update, it is possible to apply a color theme to your entire report. When you apply a so called “Report Theme”, all visuals in your report use the colors from your selected theme. Unfortunately, you can’t just import your Office Theme Colors into Power BI Desktop since they have different structures and filetypes.
