Azure Cosmos DB Connector renamed on Gateway
You have been able to connect to Azure Cosmos DB using the on-premises data gateway with the December gateway. The connector previously called DocumentDB has now been renamed to Azure Cosmos DB
ย Compatible with February PBI Desktopย
This version of the gateway will ensure that the reports that you publish to the Power BI Service and refresh via the Gateway will go through the same query execution logic/run-time as in the February Power BI Desktop version.
.Net Framework Update
The Gateway install will require .NET 4.8 framework in all versions from February 2021 and later. For information on what version of the .NET Framework is pre-installed with your operating system, consult the documentationย here.
