Announcing the Accounts Receivable Solution Template for SAP

Today we’re announcing the SAP Accounts Receivable solution template. The SAP Accounts Receivable solution template provides an end to end solution that contains AR data and reports sourced from your SAP system. This template includes four reports designed for a financial comptroller or other similar financial manager that needs to constantly be aware of their AR situation and provides powerful insights into accounts receivable by customer, document, and age.

Microsoft Power BI receives the Esri New Technology Integration Award for 2017

Today we’re excited and humbled to receive the 2017 Esri Partner Conference (EPC) – New Technology Integration award for taking map visualization and geo-analytics to the next level by integrating ArcGIS in a new or innovative way. This award from Esri is one additional validation of the work the Power BI team is doing in a partner-centric way, making Power BI a great place for partners to showcase their unique value. Announcing our incredible lineup of Customer Stories sessions at Microsoft Data Insights Summit

We are very excited to give you a preview of what each of our 18 amazing customers will show you during the Customer Story sessions at the Microsoft Data Insights Summit on June 12 – 13 in Seattle. After much preparation, we’ve boiled down each presentation to 25 minutes with 5-10 minutes of every session focused on demos. We’ve made sure we have depth and breadth of customers across several industries like sports, finance, technology, media, and more with many different capabilities showcased, including Microsoft Power BI, Power BI Mobile, PowerApps, R, Azure Machine Learning, IoT, and more. We wanted to provide a quick look at what you can expect during the event!

July is a big release for us on the Power BI Desktop team! Our most exciting feature this month is a preview of Composite models. This feature lets you seamlessly extend your DirectQuery models with other DirectQuery sources or even imported data. We have heard from many of you, especially those in larger enterprises, that this is an essential feature and are glad to share it with all of you.
