Easily accessible to all members of the team, the timecard showcase is a simple, easy to read summary of an organization’s time tracking data in Dynamics SL.  On the first page, the report highlights timecards that need attention based on their status.  While users can set filters for approving manager, employee and organization, a typical enterprise application could benefit in the implementation of Row-Level Security and parameters to limit the information in the report that is relevant and/or requires action from them. For instance, in the same report and without applying any filters, an employee could see only their timecard, while managers could see all the timecards from their direct reports.
 
The second page of the report provides a more detailed view of where time is being spent over time - billable vs. billable work, phases such as project management and development, and categories like meetings and administration.  The "Period Ending" player custom visualization provides a third dimension to the report by cycling through the pay periods selected in the timeline slicer while visualizations reflect the changing ratios of hours across the organization.
