This month’s Power BI Dev Camp topic is “Developing with .NET Core”. Learn how to develop custom web applications for Power BI using .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 5. In this session, campers will learn best practices for acquiring and caching access tokens in cloud-based development and learn a structured approach for implementing Power BI embedding. Campers will also learn how to integrate Node.js and webpack support into a .NET Core web application project to achieve strongly-typed programming when writing client-side TypeScript code against the Power BI JavaScript API.

Premium Capacity Metrics app – new health center with KPIs to explore relevant metrics and steps to mitigate issues

When you open the Power BI Premium metrics app you’re presented with the Capacity health center, which provides an overview of the health of your Power BI Premium capacity.

Power BI Mobile “new look” is now GA and includes your activity feed

Today, the new look for Power BI Mobile is generally available (GA) and becomes the default look for all users. You no longer need to turn the new look on in the app settings (and, you also can’t turn it off). So, now when you open Power BI mobile app, you’ll land on the new home page, where you can easily find and access the most recent and frequent items you usually use in Power BI.
