Help us shape the future of Power BI – Exploring the idea of Integrating Power BI with Microsoft Forms

Back in May 2021, we announced the integration of the new Power BI quick create experience within SharePoint, which enabled the SharePoint users to easily generate awesome Power BI reports by just one click. Currently, we are exploring other applications where we could potentially integrate a similar experience and one of the application that we are exploring is MS Forms. We have created a survey to compile feedback from our customers on a potential integration with Microsoft Forms. Quickly create reports from SharePoint lists

Back in December, we launched a new create experience within the Power BI service that allowed you to quick explore your data with just a few clicks. Now, we’re excited to announce, as our first integration of this experience, the launch of our Power BI integration within SharePoint lists. This experience empowers SharePoint list and Microsoft List users to easily explore their list data with just a few clicks.

Announcing Personalize Visuals General Availability (GA)

Back in May, we released a public preview of a new personalize visuals experience. With this new capability, you can empower your end-users to explore and personalize visuals all within the consumption view of a report. For example, your end-user can change a measure, a dimension, or the visualization itself. Now this month, we are excited to announce that the feature is now generally available!

Power BI Desktop April 2020 Feature Summary

We have a ton of great updates this release! We’re excited to announce a new visual personalization feature to allow your end-users to explore and personalize visuals all within the consumption view of a report! Also this month, if you’re interested in fast refresh scenarios, you will find these new features very useful: change detection for page refresh and support for relative time filters in minutes and hours. On top of this, we are releasing several other features, including rectangular lasso select across visuals, conditional formatting for totals and subtotals, Direct Query support for AI visuals: decomposition tree and key influencers, several updates to Q&A, and more!
