You may have seen some forum posts showing how to filter a report with a URL query string parameter. We also have this in the main documentation as well. It isn’t very widely known. So, I thought I’d do a blog post to highlight how to do it, and also give you a trick you can use to filter on multiple fields.

As such, it’s very important for administrators to have control over how Power BI is used in their organizations. Today, I am happy to announce an exciting new update to the Power BI admin portal that provides more control for organizations. With this release, many Power BI tenant settings can be managed at a granular level: administrators can now enable or disable different Power BI features for only a subset of users in their tenant.

This new connector allows users to easily build reports based on their Redshift data, either by importing the data into Power BI Desktop or by using DirectQuery mode. Today we are very excited to announce support for Redshift-based reports in the Power BI Service, allowing users to publish their reports to unlock seamless consumption of reports & dashboards based on Redshift data.
