Headshot of article author RomiP Koifman

Hi everyone, we’re happy to share the latest updates to the Power BI mobile apps. This month we’re mainly bringing familiar capabilities to new platforms, such as being able to center a map in Windows and Intune Support for Android. We’ve also added more support for links in iOS.

Intune Mobile Application Management preview (Android)

Power BI support for Microsoft Intune Mobile Application Manager (MAM) is now in preview for Power BI Pro users on Android devices. This support includes capabilities like those recently announced for iOS. Intune MAM allows you to modify the functionality of Power BI apps on Android to align with your organizational compliance and security policies. Learn more about Intune and Power BI

Supporting visualization links (iOS)

We are happy to provide one of the most common requests of the community: iOS Support of links in tiles and visualizations. If your tile or visualization has a URL, tapping it will open that link in the iOS browser.

Center a map to focus on data near you (Windows)

Map tiles are a great way to visualize data in space. If you are considering data that is near you, tap the Center Map icon on any dashboard map tile to instantly center the map on your exact location. Read more about this capability in our documentation.

Favorites management (Android)

Favorites are a quick and easy way to keep track of dashboards you use most.  With this release you can not only find data easily by browsing your favorite list but also mark dashboards that you want to track directly from your Android device.
