Or, maybe, you knew what data transformations you wanted to apply, but did not quite know where to find them within the Query Editor UX, or had to specify them as a Custom Column formula? Have you ever wished that you could tell Power BI Desktop what data you wanted as the output, and have us magically figure out the set of transformations for you? Announcing support for Amazon Redshift connectivity in the Power BI service

A few months ago we released a Preview of the Amazon Redshift connector in Power BI Desktop. This new connector allows users to easily build reports based on their Redshift data, either by importing the data into Power BI Desktop or by using DirectQuery mode. Today we are very excited to announce support for Redshift-based reports in the Power BI Service, allowing users to publish their reports to unlock seamless consumption of reports & dashboards based on Redshift data. Power BI Desktop – 2016 Year in Review
