Power BI Desktop March 2020 Feature Summary

We have great updates this month! We are releasing new button actions, multi-column sort for tables, dual axis for line chart, a search for the filter pane, updates to decomposition tree, and much more! We are also releasing a preview of an enhanced dataset metadata feature, which will be foundational for XMLA read/write and for management of Power BI dataset and the migration of Analysis Services workloads to Power BI. Power BI Desktop March 2019 Feature Summary

This month we have a lot of exciting announcements. Two of our most requested features on UserVoice are releasing this month, heat maps and single select slicers. Additionally, we are making our complete facelift of the modeling view generally available. New DAX functions and improvements to existing features, such as buttons and the selection pane, round out this update.

Power BI Desktop June Feature Summary

Our June release is full of new reporting features, new data connectors, accessibility features, and more. A few highlights of the June release are the addition of data bars to tables and matrices, markers for line charts, new map themes, and a horizontal image slicer. In addition, we are continuing to improve the “Add Column from Example” feature in the Query Editor.

Microsoft Power BI receives the Esri New Technology Integration Award for 2017

Today we’re excited and humbled to receive the 2017 Esri Partner Conference (EPC) – New Technology Integration award for taking map visualization and geo-analytics to the next level by integrating ArcGIS in a new or innovative way. This award from Esri is one additional validation of the work the Power BI team is doing in a partner-centric way, making Power BI a great place for partners to showcase their unique value.
