Corporate Services Inc. is a large facilities management and food services company supporting a range of customers across a number of industries.
The Challenge
As part of an ongoing initiative to improve the provision of service to regional branches of a major customer in Australia, a series of customer satisfaction surveys are made available to all employees.
Corporate Services Inc. was struggling to find a way to consolidate the survey responses and provide an interactive way for interested parties to understand their performance against contractual key performance indicators (KPIs), yearly trends and across related business areas.
The Solution
Power BI was used to create a consolidated data model that facilitated both regular reporting requirements and ad-hoc analytics.
A series of reports were created that highlighted key performance metrics with a focus on trends and areas that exhibit a decrease in volume or performance based on the prior year. By presenting the survey response volumes by branch in an interactive map it allows report consumers to understand performance across a number of focus areas all the way down to individual branches as necessary.
Leveraging the business-focused data model, specific chart elements can be selected to filter other components of the report, empowering investigation and facilitating the discovery of further insights.
