Power BI Desktop February 2020 Feature Summary

We are super excited for our update this month! We are releasing two of our top community requests: incremental refresh for Pro and hierarchical slicer. Additionally, we’ve added some improvements to the new ribbon and a couple new DAX functions. Since our last release, there have been several new custom visuals released on AppSource, so be sure to try them out! Esri ArcGIS Online and Plus subscription organizational purchase are now available for ArcGIS Maps for Power BI

Esri’s ArcGIS Maps for Power BI now makes it easier for organizations to get the most from their maps with two new capabilities. ArcGIS Maps for Power BI supports secure reference layers hosted in ArcGIS Online. New organizational purchase of Plus subscriptions for ArcGIS Maps for Power BI.

Power BI Desktop – 2016 Year in Review

2016 has been quite the year for the Power BI Desktop. Over the course of our 11 releases this year, we’ve released over 190 features and improvements based on the feedback that you’ve given us throughout the year. For December, we are taking a break from our monthly releases to focus on quality and we’ll be back early in the new year with a brand-new Desktop release. So instead of our typical monthly blog post, we’re looking back at the past year, recapping several of our favorite features, and taking a look at our big focus areas from this past year.
